Lawrence Sterne (General Partner) & Chris Southern (Operations & Technology) are successful technology entrepreneurs. In 1995 they launched one of the internet’s first financial web portals and search sites, WSRN.com, which they sold to internet.com Corp. in 1999. At internet.com, Sterne headed the investing and venture capital channel, and Southern handled all technology for the group as well as other internet.com sites. Under their direction, the investing/venture capital channel grew to a network of fifteen sites.

Among their technology accomplishments was one of the first internet stock screening programs and a customized publishing system and e-commerce interface that accommodates individual product and subscription sales as well as individual, group and enterprise entitlements.
